The Northwest District Dental Association (NWDDA) is one of six components of the Florida Dental Association (FDA). The FDA is a constituent of the American Dental Association. NWDDA is part of a tripartite organization dedicated to serving the needs of dentists and their patients. NWDDA serves Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Wakulla, Walton and Washington counties.
The object of this Association shall be to advance the dental profession in education; to disseminate within the profession knowledge of dental research and advances; to promote liberal exchange of information related to dentistry; to enlighten the public in regard to preventive dentistry; to mediate differences between patients and practitioners of this Association; to encourage and participate in dental health planning; to monitor ethical conduct of members; and to advocate and support legislation for the betterment of the public and practitioner.
